Heathers: The Musical

Heathers: The Musical follows misfit protagonist Veronica Sawyer through a glittery, dark, and murderous senior year. Veronica tackles the Heathers—the titular mean girl cadre; hypermasculine, himbo jocks; and an unhinged stranger with homicidal tendencies who might be her first evil ex-girlfriend.
This production worked collaboratively with Tony Award-nominated playwrights and composers Lawrence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy pilot the official gender-bent version of Heathers: The Musical. Our production originated the antihero Janie Dean and the first queer female relationship between Janie “J.D.” Dean and Veronica Sawyer.
